Born in Cuiaba, Brazil, Jônatas Batista Neto, studied guitar with Isaias Savio and Diogo Piazza as well as theory and harmony with conductor Roberto Schnorrenberg. Mr. Batista Neto has a PhD in Medieval History and is presently an associate professor at the University of Sao Paulo.
