French accordionist Fabien Packo's musical style was influenced by his teacher Armand Lassagne, and musicians such as Marcel Azzola and Richard Galliano. He obtained the National Diploma as an accordion teacher under the guidance of Frédéric Guerouet.

A passionate performer of all styles of music, he became particularly interested in tango and jazz music. Besides the accordeon he also plays the bandoneon. He got interested in the guitar through Sébastien Vachez, whom he met through their common interest in the music of Astor Piazzolla. Together they made transcriptions for the guitar of a few compositions by Fabian Packo.
